Roseann Bennett; Fighting For Her Clients Struggling With Mental Health Issues

With over 10 years of experience, Roseann Bennett, a licensed marriage and family therapist, has experienced many diverse cases with her clients. From the children to the families as a whole, she focuses on holistic views while treating them at a low cost, but still providing quality services. She visits the family’s homes for treatments in mental health, crisis management, and family and individual therapy. The experience she has gained through each unique case has made her a compassionate therapist.

In 2009, the Center for Assessment and Treatment, a charitable organization, opened which allowed the agency to assist people struggling with their life. Whether they were struggling internally or externally, the agency is able to treat and be an advocate to the individuals. Her leadership abilities have strengthened the direction and coordination of the agency. Roseann Bennett plays an integral part by maintaining her own clinical caseload. She believes connecting with people is how to help someone change. Not only does she help her clients mentally, she is also involved with the development of programs and activities and agency budgets.

In order for Roseann Bennett to make an idea come to life, she needs to feel passionate about it. There are times she ponders the idea too long and needs to take a break and come back to it with a fresh outlook on it. After assessing the risks and opportunities, she can then make an educated decision if the idea fits her practice.

As a therapist, she understand the importance of family. That is why, at the end of the day, she makes a point to spend time with her family and discuss the great, and not so great parts of their days. To relax, she enjoys reading and makes sure to take of herself physically and mentally. Otherwise, she can see the quality of her work is lax.

Roseann Bennett received her education from Seton Hall University and earned her Specialist in Education in Marriage and Family Therapy and her Master’s degree in Psychological Studies. Recently, she has become a Clinical Certified Trauma Professional.
